Abstract Artist Julie Richman Talks about her web work

Several years ago I put my own abstract art on the internet. As a result of my first efforts, several of my friends and some family members asked me to create web sites for them. Since that time I have created web sites for my own group of abstract artists called Abstract and in Color and artists Annette Turow - Kay Smith Watercolor Art, and Sonia Katz and Iris Goldstein. In addition I am responsible for the Hyde Park Historical Society Web site.

Abstract art and my training as a printmaker has helped me understand the organization of a web page. My sites are very simple and I am only interested in creating sites for artists and for organizations.

I began submitting my designs to Zazzle a few years ago because I wanted to see how my abstract art looked on Tee Shirts. It turned out that these were fun to wear and I also decided to upload my art to make cups and bags. I may be my own best customer, but having this abstract art on Zazzle gives me the opportunity to display my abstract art in an affordable way. I always try and make my art amazing and affordable.
